Paradise Beads has been open for almost 2 years on this website, and a year prior on ebay. During this time there has been more and more stock added often and new and exciting things such as our design competitions and our very own forum.
The forum is a great place to discuss beads, design ideas, and other general day to day bead or non bead related things. There is a nice little community formed in the Forum so why dont you come and join us, click the link to the left or go to www.paradisebeads.com.au/forum.
Whats new at Paradise? There is restocking of all the bookmarks in the small size and the squigglies, also more keyrings, clasps and beads to be added. Please keep checking back and keep an eye out on emails with updates.
A Little about Me...
Hi, my name is Jo and Im the owner of Paradise Beads. I live in North Sydney and have a whole room set up and dedicated to all the beads, findings, containers etc. I have been beading since early 2005. I was fed up with paying such exhorbinant prices for beads, findings, crystals, stringing materials etc that when a friend suggested we start to sell it all ourselves i thought it was a great idea. We started off small on ebay and as their fees got too big we decided to make a website. It was a lot of work in setting up but we got there in the end.
In November 2006 it became too hard for us to continue together as we were in different states and had different stock levels that we decided to split up and i kept going with Paradise. During the last 2 years i have added more and more items available for purchase, and at the same time, keeping prices very competitive and also with the postage costs. Now today, there are over 500 products and over 400 customers and getting bigger each month. After counting and packaging beads, packing orders and visiting the post office most days, i barely have enough time to bead myself these days, but i still make things to order and a few things for myself. Anyway, enough about me, Happy Shopping and Happy Beading :)
