*Since my handmade artisan jewelry pieces are one-of-a-kind, - and I have a weekly (Sunday) Santa Barbara Art Walk on the beach at Cabrillo Boulevard showing and sale -, not all items can be on the shopping cart. Therefore I have included a few group pictures (at the bottom of some pages) of my unique jewelry gifts that maybe available by email order. Just describe the piece you like as closely as you can by emailing me at monikam@timelyjewels.com, and I will tell you, if it is still available.
*Niobium (also known as Columbium) is a very rare, pure metal and a natural element. It is more expensive than Sterling Silver, but hypoallergenic and a good choice for people with known metal sensitivities or allergies. It is light-refractive, very strong and light weight. Niobium was first discovered in 1801 by Charles Hatchett in England. The most important deposits are found in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Thailand, Malaysia and China. In its natural state Niobium is a soft, shiny, grayish metal. Anodizing (an electrical action) oxidizes the metal to create a rainbow of colors without inks or dyes.
